I am a philosopher presently active in the Calgary area, retired from the University of Lethbridge. My primary interests are in social philosophy, ethics, and the theory of argument. I’ve written a number of books and academic articles, as well as some columns for newspapers and the magazine Humanist Perspectives. Since 2012 I have enjoyed facilitating interest groups on a variety of topics for the Calgary Association for Lifelong Learners (CALL). I continue writing, with my favorite current projects being colloquial philosophical dialogues on social issues. I do occasional reviews for Informal Logic, Dialogue, the Canadian Journal of Philosophy, and several other journals. |
